TEACHING

Nicole León first discovered a passion for teaching during her undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School. From 2007 to 2013, she worked with Catherine Cho's students in both the Pre-College and College Divisions at Juilliard.
Since relocating to Paris in 2013, she has remained active as a teacher and mentor to students of all ages. In 2021, she was named violin professor at the Sarcelles Conservatory of Music, where she taught violin as part of the initiative Un violon dans mon école. Launched by the Vareille Foundation in 2015, A violin can change the world is an educational program geared towards helping disadvantaged children improve their academic performance through rigorous violin instruction.
Nicole currently serves on the faculties of the Blanc-Mesnil Conservatory, the Saint-Cloud Conservatory, and l'Apprenti Musicien, where she also teaches chamber music. In addition, she maintains a private studio in the Paris metropolitan area. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, she teaches in all three languages.
